Viagra is a prescription medication for erectile dysfunction.
It's prescribed for men who cannot take oral medications like Viagra because of health conditions. It's also used as a treatment for enlarged prostate.
Dr. Steven Brill, a consultant urology specialist at the University of Toronto, has found that a small number of men using Viagra have been diagnosed with erectile dysfunction.
The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, compared Viagra to placebo, with men taking Viagra for as long as six months.
Viagra is the brand name for the drug Viagra, also known by its generic name sildenafil.
It is available in three doses: 25mg, 50mg, and 100mg.
The study was conducted by researchers from the University of Toronto.
Viagra is sold in Canada by different drug companies.
The drugs are called sildenafil and vardenafil.
Viagra was found to be the most expensive drug on the market at $1.56 per pill.
Brill said the new study is one of several reasons why men are more likely to use Viagra, including the cost of the drugs.
"These findings provide men with a more realistic estimate of the true cost of Viagra," he said.
The study was funded by Eli Lilly Canada Inc. and was published in the November 2023 edition of the journal International Journal of Impotence.
The study was reported in the April issue of the American Journal of Impotence.
"There's a good chance we'll see some more of these cheaper drugs in the near future," said Brill, who also is director of clinical research at the Toronto Heart and Vascular Institute.
Viagra can take up to four to six weeks to become effective.
"It can take a month or two to see an erection," said Brill, who wasn't involved in the study. "If you take it for six months and you don't see a firm erection for four weeks, you're likely to not be taking Viagra for an extended period."
It's possible that doctors may prescribe a higher dose of Viagra if the drug is not effective.
The Canadian Drug Name System, which is used to make Viagra more easily accessible, said it's common for men to only take one pill at the same time.
The study was conducted by researchers from the University of Toronto, the University of Quebec and the Institute of Medicine at the University of Montreal.
It found that men who took the new study had a 40 percent higher chance of getting a firm erection in the four to six-week period.
The new study was conducted by researchers from the University of Toronto, the University of Quebec and the Institute of Medicine at the University of Montreal.
It also found that men who did not take the new study had a significantly higher chance of achieving an erection.
Brill said men who take drugs like Viagra should be aware of the potential risk of erectile dysfunction, which can be a sign of a less-than-satisfying problem.
"Erectile dysfunction is a condition in which men are unable to achieve or maintain an erection," he said.
The drugs are sold by different companies and by different people, so the study was not necessarily a one-size-fits-all approach.
It would be wrong to say that men who take the new study are more likely to use erectile dysfunction drugs.
The researchers also weren't sure about the long-term benefits for their patients, said the study's co-author, Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
"It might be a good idea to compare the benefits of Viagra and placebo in people who don't have any health conditions," he said.
Brill said his team is working on finding out what might happen to men who use Viagra.
"This study was done on healthy men, who have no health conditions, but have high blood pressure and heart disease as well as low blood pressure and diabetes," he said.
